Message I had gas that was approximately 8-9 years old in my 91 TTZ which has been parked in the garage broken down for that long. I drained the fuel tank and the gas was in surprisingly good shape. I removed the fuel filter and I tried using air pressure to blow the old fuel back from the engine compartment into the tank before draining. That did not work...just pressurized the fuel in the line and made it spit back out into the engine compartment. So now that I have the tank drained and new fuel in the tank how do I go about purging the old fuel that is in the lines from the tank to engine compartment? Any suggestions would help. Thinking of letting the fuel pump do the work but just directing it through a hose into a gas can. Is that the best way? Trying to bring this beast back to life...
